In your family and friends there are some people who are more close to you and whom you often contact.
This new tweak known as Homescreen Contacts allows you to put your contacts on the home screen of your iPhone so that you can easily contact/text/mail them right from your HomeScreen. After installation you will see an additional option in each contact in the contacts app (this is important since you won’t be able to see the button in the phone app) known as “Add to Home Screen”. When you tap on this the contact will be added to your HomeScreen.
The contact icon added to your HomeScreen is similar to an app icon which when pressed gives you all the information of the associated contact.
Taping on “send message” will open up the write new message on your phone on the messages app. Taping on the mobile number will place a call for you. Taping on postal address will result in the native Map app and giving you the location of a particular place. If you have assigned the contact a picture the same picture will be shown on the contacts icon on the HomeScreen.
Suppose if you ever want to delete someones contact from your HomeScreen all you have to do is enter wiggle mode by holding down any app icon for a few minutes and then you will see the minus sign on the contact icon, go ahead and tap on them to remove any contact from your HomeScreen.
