Review: MediaSpeak

Do you go for a lot of jogging while listening to music with your iDevice in your pocket? Well then this tweak is a good one for you. MediaSpeak, owing to it’s name speaks out the song, artist and album name for you.

There are no icons added nor is any settings panel added.

Review: PodControl

PodControl is new jailbreak tweak which allows you to easily play/pause your music or play next track/previous track directly from your springboard. The tweak adds 3 beautiful icons to your springboard with which you can control your music.

You can check out PodControl in action below:

The only complain that I have with PodControl is that the play/pause icon is not dynamic which makes it a little less attractive but apart from that everything is fine.

If you are interested in PodControl you can get it from Cydia for free under the BigBoss repo.

Plugication

If you listen to music using earphones often on your iPhone or iPod Touch you might have realized that when you disconnect your earphones the songs just stop playing, this is a handy feature provided by the iOS but if this also worked the other way found would that be even more cool? Yesterday a new tweak made it’s way into Cydia calling itself as Plugication.

This tweak is a really helpful one if you listen to music using your earphone and hate the fact that after reconnecting your iPhone you really need to go to your desired music app and play the music again. With Plugication you can avoid all that because now as soon as you reconnect your earphones Plugication accesses your music (default Music app as well as third party apps such as Spotify) and starts playing it for you.
